How to arrive?

Arezzo can be reached by car from Florence or Rome by the Autostrada del Sole (A1 Milano-Napoli) coming off at the Arezzo exit; the center of the city is about 10 km far from here. Road distances from Arezzo: Cortona 29 km, Florence 74 km, Siena 89 km, Perugia 92 km, Rome 218 km.

By train

the Arezzo train station is located along the railway line Bologna-Roma. The station is served by Intercity trains daily with connections to Florence, Rome and the rest of Italy. The TFT (Tuscan Rail Transport) of the LFI group, operates rail lines to Arezzo-Sinalunga and Arezzo-Stia.

By bus

Arezzo is connected with the Valdichiana, Valtiberina, Pratomagno, Casentino and Valdarno, by a communications network made possible by ATAM, LFI and SITA buses.
State Roads: SS 73 coming from Valdichiana, Siena, Grosseto and Sansepolcro. SS 71, Umbro-Casentinese, coming from the Casentino, Stia, Forlì and Valdichiana, Cortona, Lake Trasimeno, Perugia. SS 69 coming from Valdarno, Pontassieve, Figline and Montevarchi.

From the Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport

by car: motorway A11 up to Florence, then motorway A1 up to Arezzo. By train: train station Pisa airport, take trains to Florence Santa Maria Novella, and from there, take trains in the direction of Arezzo (excluding Eurostar).

For those arriving by camper there are convenient and free parks near the historic center ( see the list above). In particular, Pietri and Tarlati Parking are located near and equipped area for loading/unloading of water. The equipped area is located in Via Pierluigi da Palestrina (the access requires the payment of 0,80 euro / hour on weekdays and the first Sunday of the month.
